No corporate money pledge

The Stackhouse for Governor campaign is fueled on sensible policy, grand vision, and volunteer passion.

We are not funded by big money or special interests as we refuse all campaign contributions from corporations, corporate-sponsored PACs, or from lobbyists on behalf of for-profit corporations as part of the No Corporate PAC pledge

We consider this a basic commitment any elected public official should make as a matter of public trust and avoidance of all conflicts of interest whether actual or just in appearance.

I pledge to put Patients Over Profits

I am also a signee of the Patients Over Profits pledge which has been organized by National Nurses United - the largest nurses union in the United States. The pledge reads as follows:

CEOs and lobbyists for Big Pharma, corporate insurers, and private hospitals have formed a front group called Partnership for America’s Healthcare Future that wants to exploit our health care system to make money off of keeping us sick.

I pledge to put patients over profits and not take contributions over $200 from the executives, lobbyists, and PACs affiliated with the corporate health care industry, including private insurers, pharma corporations, and private hospitals who are organizing to take over our health care system.”

Patients Over Profits is a campaign designed to remove the influence of private health insurance, the pharmaceutical industry, and private hospitals from our political system.

No Big Tech Money Pledge

I pledge not to take contributions from Big Tech executives, lobbyists, and PACs and instead prioritize small businesses, families, and our democracy over the monopolies of Apple, Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Microsoft.

Taking the pledge means a political candidate’s campaign must not accept any contributions over $200 from the corporate Political Action Committees (PACs), named executives, or lobbyists of Apple, Alphabet (parent company of Google), Amazon, Meta (formerly Facebook), and Microsoft.

The No Big Tech Money pledge is born of the recognition that the "Big Five" tech giants are monopolies which exercise undue influence over our lives and political system.

Good Party Pledges

GoodParty.org is a nonprofit organization that specializes in providing affordable campaign services exclusively to candidates running outside of the two-party system. Andre is proud to have his campaign powered by their data, tech, and expertise and is committed to upholding their values. In order to partner, Andre signed the following pledge:

Independent

I am an independent, non-partisan, or third-party candidate. I am committed to the interests of the people above myself and partisan politics.

People Powered

I will focus on solving the problems facing my community, not serving myself or special interests. I will disclose donors and ensure that most of my funding comes from real people, not from corporations, unions or other special interests.

Anti-Corruption

I will be open, accountable and transparent about my positions and progress on issues. This means staying connected to, informed by, and responsive to my constituents using the best tools available.
