STATEMENT - Hello Washington and thank you for checking out my campaign whether you're one of the more than 11,000 people who voted for me or one who remains a skeptic.
The primary is over and no matter how the remaining ballots go, I will not be advancing to the general election in November. When you're a candidate of my stripes, you have to cherish every vote and I am proud that this campaign finished in the top 10 of a field of 28, that we netted over eleven and a half thousand votes, and that we finished higher than any other independent or 3rd party candidate in the race. While there is a long way to go between where we are today and the Washington we are trying to build, I believe that this campaign was more than an acceptable start.
